This is part of the Erasmus+ work experience programme, funded by the European Union and we are now recruiting for our training course and work experience programme linked to positions in Seville, Spain starting in September 2015. These paid placements are 3 months in duration and will enable participants to develop experience and practical skills for community development as well as to develop their Spanish language skills. Participants will also work towards the Level 3 Award in Community Development, accredited by City & Guilds. Spanish employers offering roles include Donana National Park, Ecologistas en Accion and Ecoeduca and are open to anyone between 18-64 years of age who are looking to expand their skills and enhance their future employability. A good level of social awareness and a keen interest in community work is required. Donana National Park and Ecologistas en Accion do not require Spanish but Ecoeduca requires intermediate level Spanish. Preparatory training is provided pre-departure incorporating language tuition and practical and cultural information. Participants receive a weekly allowance of €100 and the cost of flights, insurance and accommodation are funded by the programme.
