We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Scientist/Hhydrogeologist to join our well-established and experienced team in our centrally located Dublin office. 

This position fulfils part of a team role in delivering ground investigation services to clients. The position exists to meet a requirement for additional capacity in the URS Dublin Soil and Groundwater teams. Its purpose is to provide professional consulting services in relation to soil and groundwater Phase I and II contaminated land assessments and remediation project.

As an Environmental Scientist/hydrogeologist your main responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring that Health and Safety issues are addressed throughout the life of a project;
• Completing field-based ground investigation works;
• Coordinating field service subcontractors;
• Completing office-based data management and report preparation;
• Coordinating with laboratories to secure appropriate analysis;
• Being familiar with URS quality management system and ensure its effective implementation by the team for all projects and proposals.

Selected Requirements:
·        An Hydrogeology/Environmental Science/Geology or Environmental Engineering degree or equivalent;
·        Previous contaminated land consultancy experience;
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
·        A full driving License;
·        Good understanding of contaminated land assessments;
·        Previous experience with project management would be an advantage;
·        Excellent report writing skills.
