Description: The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) is Ireland’s independent energy regulator with a wide range of economic, safety and customer protection responsibilities in energy. The CER is now preparing for its exciting new role as the economic regulator of the Irish public water and wastewater sector, anticipated to commence formally towards the end of 2013. The CER is now seeking a qualified, high achieving individual to join the organisation and play their role in the future of the energy and water sectors in Ireland, focusing on the economic and customer protection functions of the organisation. The role will initially be focused on leading, managing, developing and implementing a new regulatory framework for the public water sector. Selected requirements: An honours degree (2.1 or higher) in a relevant discipline such as; i. Economics ii. Business iii. Engineering iv. Finance v. Regulatory Policy vi. Accountancy vii.
