Location: IT Sligo
Duration: 2 years Schedule: Part-time, Online Overview: Many organisations develop a management plan or system to implement, manage and maintain environmental goals. This ordinary degree in Environmental Management is specifically designed for people who are required to take an active part in the environmental management affairs of an organisation. It is also suitable for others who wish to develop their knowledge, skills and competence base in the science of environmental management. The programme will be mainly delivered using the internet (using the Moodle online teaching application) and students will be instructed in this method at the start of the programme. Online lectures, programme materials, innovative learning, web-links and assessments will be delivered using this platform. There will also be two workshops per semester, where the students will undertake teamwork, lectures and/or site visits to environmental facilities or organisations with functioning environmental management systems. |
