The intern will gain practical skills and experience in : Assist in managing the Honeywell Environmental Management System - updating, maintenance & auditing. Learn how the system is set up within the broader EMEA framework. Learn how an IPPC License works on the ground ensuring compliance between the site and the EPA. Assist with energy reduction projects and waste reduction projects; Assist with other HSE tasks where appropriate. This is an ideal starter opportunity for a person who wishes to get on the job experience within the EHS function of a large multinational company. The on site HSE manager will mentor and assist the candidate with training.
Third level Science / Environmental qualification; Strong IT literacy in MS Office programmes. Good general communication skills.
This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.
