Be sure to follow us*** Description: An investigation of the distribution of the sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) in Irish waters. Applications are invited to undertake theabove study by way of MSc. The aim of project will be to identify spawning concentrationsof sea bass in Irish waters as an indicator of putative population organisation,assess the propensity in the species for spawning and feeding area fidelity andto elucidate the relationship between fish in spawning aggregations, juvenile distributionand pre-adult bass in coastal waters.Selected requirements: The successful candidate will hold a BSc in Marine Biology/Zoology/Genetics or related discipline.
